The tours described in this brochure are operated by Buckles & Boards Ski Shop, Inc., "Tour Operator" located at 985 Plain Street, Marshfield, Ma. 02050.
This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions pursuant
to which in return for payment by the tour participant, "Participant",
of the amount specified as the price and a signed Participant's Application,
Tour Operator agrees to provide the subject tour.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT: Deposit of $ 400.00 per person for land
arrangements is required at time of booking. No reservation will be
processed without deposit. Full and final is due 60 days before departure
date. For bookings made within 30 days departure,
add $ 20.00 per person. For final payments received later than date specified
on contract or invoice add $ 20.00 per person.
CANCELLATION OF AIRLINE TICKETS: NON-REFUNDABLE. No travel
date changes are allowed.
ALTERATION OF LAND ARRANGEMENTS: Due to frequent difficulties
of changing reservations, and due to the amount of work involved therein,
the operator is compelled to charge $ 50.00 per person for each change of
itinerary.
BAGGAGE: One pair of skis with poles and ski boots are usually
defined as one piece of baggage measuring 55 inches. If you have only
one suitcase (not exceeding 62 inches) to be checked in, then one pair of
skis, poles, and boots will usually be accepted as the remaining
part of your free allowance. Check with the airlines for restrictions.
AIR TRANSPORTATION: The airfares are based on current tariff
and are subject to change. Departure tax is additional.
Air transportation includes round trip transatlantic jet economy class via
regularly scheduled airlines. All prices are based GIT,
APEX, or other group fares and regulations from the Departure City to the
Destination City shown for each vacation as specified
in the itinerary. Transatlantic transportation in Business class or First
class may be arranged at additional cost.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: The Tour Participant has the
right to cancel reservations and receive a refund as set
forth in the following schedule. All cancellations must be made in writing
to Buckles & Boards Ski Shop, Inc.,
985 Plain Street., Marshfield, Ma. 02050. 121 days prior to scheduled departure
full refund 90-120 days a charge of $ 200.

NO REFUND No refunds will be given on any unused portion of
the tour package after departing from the United States.
We reserve the right to cancel any individual participation in its entirety
or any part thereof, by refunding a proportionate
balance for the unused portion of the tour. For your protection, we urge you
to consider travel insurance.
NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE: Transportation between your home
and the airport of origin and termination; meals
other than those specified; tips or gratuities; telephone charges; laundry;
passport; health certificates and visa expenses;
airport taxes; excess baggage charges; health and accident insurance; all
items of a personal nature including wine, liquor,
food and extra meals not included in the tour package.
RESPONSIBILITY: The TOUR OPERATOR and/or its agent act only
in the capacity of agent for the passengers in all matters
pertaining to travel whether by plane, rail, bus, steamer or any other means
of conveyance. They shall assume no liability for injury,
damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either
by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts
or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or
carrying out the arrangements of the tour. The tour
operator can accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses due
to delay or changes in schedule or other causes. Baggage
is carried at owner's risk and baggage insurance is recommended. The issuance
of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be
consent to the above conditions. The Tour Operator is not to be held responsible
for the lack of snow or non-operation of the lifts
at the ski resorts, or for the closure of access routes to or from the resorts
due to snow or weather conditions; nor are they to be
held liable for any additional expenses or consequences arriving there from.
Similarly, they are not to be held responsible for the
late arrival of passengers at airports or at resorts due to bad weather or
road conditions, or for any other reasons beyond their
control; nor are they to be held liable for payment of any refund for unused
hotel accommodations or meals occasioned by such
late arrivals at the hotels holding rooms as per confirmed itineraries.
RESPONSIBILITY PARTICIPATING CARRIERS: The sole responsibility
of any airline used in any tour is limited to that set out
in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. Airlines are not responsible
for any act, omission or event during the time the
passengers are not on board their aircraft. Persons missing a flight or tour
must, at their own expense, transport themselves to
the next point of the trip.
